SIHM, Ranchi is the first & only Hotel Management Institute established under National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Noida, Delhi (NCR), established jointly by Department of Tourism, Govt. of Jharkhand and Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, awarding 3 Years B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Diploma in Food Production, F & B Service, Housekeeping and Bakery & Confectionery and Hunar Se Rozgar Tak.
We take pride in offering Student Centric Outcome Based Education that is relevant to todays & future Hospitality Industry, and Society. We are delighted that the new Batch will join our institution this year. Our faculty members are looking forward to imparting quality education and helping you to understand fundamental concepts in a wide host of subjects, with advanced laboratories.
We assure that the Pedagogy at the Institute will be state-of-art, Modern and an ideal Institution in India, where a variety of learning, behavioral tools are used in quality pursuance of knowledge, development of skills, attitudes, and values complemented by academia-industry interface. Role plays, case studies, project work practical, industrial exposure training with leading hotels in India, project research assignments, industry visits, will be some of the methods that will be used as per the recent industry needs.
The Institute will focus on the holistic development of its students through variety of methodologies and extracurricular activities the whole year round. Teaching, Skill development, Job Creation and Research & Development will be the primary activities at the Institute through which we will fulfill our Mission and Objective.
Our course curriculum is designed conforming to the NCHMCT norms and current industry demand. Our graduates will be proficient and future ready to face any of the challenges of the Industry and Society head-on.
