Chef Rajnish Singh, alumni of IHM Hyderabad, started his career with The Oberoi Grand Kolkata in Food Production Department. Later he got transferred to the Hotel Trident Hyderabad where he worked till 2015. To share his enrich knowledge and hands on 10 years experience learnt from 5 Star Deluxe Hotel. He decided to join Academics. He started in academics from IHM Hyderabad as a Food Production Faculty in 2015. He also got opportunity to work in Jawahar Nawodaya Vidhalaya Kargil situated in Leh & Laddakh Territory as a Catering Assistant to look after Mass Volume Catering for student. After clearing NHTET Exam and upgrading his educational Qualification to Masters in Tourism Administration he joined in IHM Ranchi. At present he is heading FOOD production Department and Hostel Mess.
Being in his service period he has gone under various short term training program like Tourist Guide Programme Faculty Development Programme, Hindi Teaching Scheme as an Official Language (Raj Bhasha Samiti, Ministry of Home Affairs) and various online courses on SWYAM by MHRD.
He takes keen interest in organizing culinary competitions, workshop and field trips. Judging and evaluating culinary competition has been a regular affair for him.
As his hobby is plantation he is actively seen in tree plantation and gardening activity. He always motivates his students not only to achieve their carrier goal but to responsible for the society and environment.
