
Zubin Roy is a faculty member with over a decade of experience in hospitality education and industry training. He graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, in 2016 and went on to complete his post-graduate studies at the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, specializing in Sales and Marketing. Demonstrating a strong command over the subject, Zubin has cleared the National Eligibility Test for Hospitality Teachers on two occasions.
Zubin began his teaching career as a Teaching Associate at the Institute of Hotel Management, Bhopal, for two years, before moving on to serve as an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of Hotel Management, Dehradun, for nearly seven years (6 years and 10 months).
Beyond the classroom, Zubin has played an active role in capacity-building initiatives for the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, conducting training programmes on homestays and skill development for local communities. He has also had the honour of hosting events at the Uttarakhand Lok Bhavan (Governor's House), and has served as the in-charge for several ministry-directed initiatives, including the Swachhta Action Plan and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
A firm believer in continuous learning, Zubin has participated in numerous national and international Faculty Development Programmes, and remains deeply committed to mentoring and guiding students toward professional excellence.
