Mohit Gupta (Assistant Lecturer)


Mohit Gupta is an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of Hotel Management, Ranchi, with academic and industry experience in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, Tourism and Hotel Management. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Travel & Tourism Management from the Indian Institute of Travel & Tourism Management, Noida, under Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He holds an M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration, a Master’s degree in Tourism and Travel Management, and a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.

With teaching experience at IHM Ranchi, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University) and Parul University, his academic interests encompass hospitality education, food and beverage service, tourism, hospitality marketing, destination branding and emerging technologies in the hospitality sector. He also brings valuable industry experience working with East India Hotels- The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra.

His research interests focus on hospitality and tourism, destination branding, guest perception and loyalty, hospitality marketing, and the application of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies in the hospitality industry and sustainable tourism. He has published research work in hospitality and tourism-related areas.
At IHM Ranchi, he is also associated with Training & Placement activities, contributing to industry-academia engagement and student career development. Latest research publication
