Chef Tom Thomas
has more than 15 years of experience with over a decade in teaching dedicated
to the field of Patisserie & Boulangerie.
He is an alumini of IHM Pusa - Batch (2003-2006).
He started his career as a Chef with TAJ SATS Air Catering Limited where
he joined as Kitchen Management Trainee and then was promoted as Chef de Partie
handling Business and First-class meals.
As an academician Chef Tom has worked with Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel
Management and Catering Technology as an Assistant Professor and then later
moving to Lavonne Academy of Bakery Science and Pastry Arts as Senior Executive
Chef Instructor.
At Lavonne Academy Chef Tom Thomas co-mentored the bakery team for World skill
competition held in Kazan Russia and secured 5th position with a medallion
of excellence.
As a dedicated academician he has conducted
English Baking camps in South Korea and has trained and mentored aspiring chefs
for regional and national level Chef competitions & Trade tests.
He is a certified level 5 Trainer for the
qualification pack of Pastry Chef conforming to National Skill Qualification
Framework.
