Chef Rajshekhar, an alumni of IHM, Hajipur, batch of 2009-12 started his career with Yum! Brand as a manager. Later he got associated with “The Leela, Goa in continental specialty restaurant. After having expertise in the European cuisine, he moved to “The Club Kitchen” a Multicusine restaurant catering to V VIP’s and delegates to have a hand on experience on different cuisines of the world. He has been a part of new menu introduction team as a culinary associate.
To enrich his career, he joined “Seven seas Mariner”, a world class cruise ship which was first to offer dining by the famous “Le Cordon Bleu” of Paris. Later he joined carnival corporation and worked with two premier ships, “Grand princess” and “Diamond princess” in bakery, Steak house and severe kitchen and catered to large number of international travelers from all around the world. After signing off the contract, he turned to academics in 2018 at IHM, Hajipur, where he taught Food Production.
He Joined IHM, Ranchi as a pre-opening team in 2019, and he heads the Bakery Department. He also teaches Food Production, Food Science and Nutrition to the Students. He takes keen interest in organizing culinary competitions, workshops and demonstrations. He has been a member of Judges panel for Jharkhand cookery league season-2.
